Woodrow is a writer of books for children. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in Okemos, Michigan, a suburb of East Lansing.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.jewishchronicle.org/article.php?article_id=2546 )〕 Allan attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and then became an advertising copywriter in Detroit, Michigan.
